Broughty Ferry Pink Gin was developed to enable Toll House Spirits to give back to the community where they grew up. Both Fiona and Angela were brought up and have spent most of their lives in the town.
The pink gin, inspired by blossom trees in Dawson Park and distilled using locally grown raspberries, was initially planned to support the local lifeboat, and was due to launch in summer 2020. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic, and the resulting hardship, the launch was brought forward, and with the agreement of the local RNLI, the initial funds raised were donated to the Broughty Ferry food-bank.
Local illustrator Molly McCammon created the logo design ahead of the special release, and the feedback on the design was so positive, the decision was made to continue with the iconic castle image.
The local life-boat will received £1 for every bottle sold.
